A lot of people seem to pay more than they need to for domain names. So I thought I'd let you know two of the cheapest places to buy them.
For UK domain names (.co.uk etc) I use 123-reg. 123-reg is owned by PIPEX, one of the UK's biggest internet companies, so you are in safe hands. A .co.uk costs £2.59 (ex VAT) per year, which is the cheapest I have found.
For .com's, I use Go Daddy. Go Daddy is the world's largest domain name registrar. A .com costs just US$8.95 per year. For UK customers, that is cheaper than any UK based registrar that I have seen.
Note: I am not affilated in any way to 123-reg or Go Daddy!
