Drupal development sprints

I focus on long-term improvements for my Drupal clients using weekly sprints. This helps them to leverage Drupal for the needs of their membership business with consistent monthly progress.

How I can help you

Each client is different, so together we’ll design the engagement around your needs. Here is a flavour of the sort of things that we can do together.

  • develop custom Drupal modules that make Drupal fit your business processes
  • integrate Drupal with CRM systems (like Salesforce) and marketing automation systems (like Pardot, Drip and ConvertKit)
  • build robust membership and e-learning system that delivers a bespoke member experience
  • helping you sleep at night by taking care of the essentials, such as security updates, backups, monitoring errors and fixing bugs
  • supporting your email marketing efforts
  • up level the user experience through personalisation to provide targetted call to actions and content
  • improving conversion rates so you get more sign ups and sales
  • save staff time by automating processes

How we can work together

Often the process for Drupal projects is long and frustrating. They can drag on and on, for months or even years, and the end result is often not what you need.

I do things differently. Rather than working on big drawn-out projects, I work in focused 1 week sprints. In each sprint, we’ll focus on a specific goal, and we’ll work together to achieve it. This means that you’ll see progress every week, and you’ll be able to see the results of your investment.

The sprint process

Each sprint is a week long. We’ll start with a planning session to agree the goal for the sprint. Then I’ll work on the sprint and we’ll have a daily check-in to make sure that we are on track. At the end of the sprint, we’ll have a review session to review the work and agree the next sprint.

Step 1: Planning We’ll hop on a planning call to prioritize your list, and I’ll give you realistic expectations of what’s possible in the sprint.

Step 2: Sprint I’ll work on the sprint, and we’ll have a daily check-in to make sure that we are on track.

Step 3: Review At the end of the sprint, we’ll have a review session to review the work and agree the next sprint.

Step 4: 14 day support After the sprint, I’ll be available for 14 days to fix any bugs or issues that come up.

Why you’ll love working this way

  • Focus more on the high-impact changes and less on the stuff that doesn’t make a difference
  • Lots of collaboration during the sprint — plenty of opportunities to provide feedback with real-time changes
  • You’ll know the exact price of the sprint and when it will be booked in
  • It’s low risk. You aren’t committing to a big, long-winded project
  • Once the sprint is over, you can get back to business – no need work worry about a seemingly never-ending project running in the background
  • Dedicated week in which you can be available — no more back and forth for weeks or months
  • You’ll see progress every week, and you’ll be able to see the results of your investment
